The AN thread is a particular type of fitting used to connect flexible hoses and rigid metal tubing that carry fluid. It became popular for usage within Professional racing for the ability to easily customize new lines. From there it’s usage spread to the aftermarket automotive performance field for its ease in adaptability, upgradability and durability.

This fitting converts your OEM 1/4 hardline to 6AN. It is anodized black and includes a leak-proof sealing. The fitting is E85 compatible.

How to check the hardline size ??

• Measure the hardline tube thickness using a digital caliper
• 5/16″ = 7.9mm
• 1/4″ = 6.3mm
• 3/8″ = 9.5mm

Installation Note: To prevent O-ring damage, first clean the hardline, then lubricate with oil or grease before installing the adapter. Installation instructions are NOT included. Professional installation is highly recommended.
